In the course of his professional life, Yacov Bogopolsky (Jacques Bolsky/Bolsey) founded and operated several businesses in Switzerland and the US. Most were devoted to the production of photographic and cinematographic equipment. In addition, after the sale of the Bolex camera to the Paillard firm, Bogopolsky served as technical consultant on the Bolex project for several years, culminating in the enormous worldwide success of the camera.
